多読中には日本語を避けているので、品詞だの時制だの仮定法のと言った文法用語は使えるようにはなりません。しかし、英語を読んだり聴いたりして楽しめる＝英語の仕組みがわかる＝文法がわかるという意味では、文法は身につきます。例えば、TOEICのReading Sectionの穴埋め問題のような、いわゆる文法問題は解けるようになります。「ここは時制の一致だから」などという理屈ではなく、当てはめて自然に感じるものを選ぶと正解になるという感じです。
